Hybrid lecture equipment
In five auditoriums of Klaipėda University, we have installed modern and at the same time extremely easy-to-use equipment for hybrid lectures, which allows lectures to be held both in the auditorium and for students working remotely.
An all-in-one type computer is installed at the teacher’s workplace for displaying visual material during lectures and initiating a video call with remote students.
The interactive Helgi HC8620M 86″ diagonal screen allows interactive control f the presentation with a finger or a pen, allowing to draw and mark on the displayed image.
The Aver DL10 stationary “smart” video camera is able to zoom in and follow the tutor automatically, without user input, transmitting the image to distant students.
Aver Media AW315F wireless microphones and Biamp SDQ5P acoustic systems were used for audio communication with the remote party.
Upgrade of conferencing equipment
Within the scope of this project, we updated the audio-visual conference equipment in the university’s largest multi-functional spaces – the Aula Magna (Studlandas) auditorium building, Rectorate, Senate and Stasios Vaitekūnas aula halls.
The AV-over-IP system installed in the Aula Magna complex allows connecting all the premises of the complex – the conference hall, two amphitheater auditoriums, halls. The operator has the ability to transmit the image from any audio/video source connected at any location to any selected room, record or broadcast the event live on the Internet.
In the complex, the audio and video equipment has also been fundamentally updated, Epson laser video projectors, Aver high-definition video cameras, LG professional LCD screens, Martin Audio CDD series acoustic systems, BIAMP Tesira sound processors, Crestron automated control equipment have been installed.
The complex of audio and video equipment installed in the meeting rooms of the Rectorate and the Senate provides an opportunity to conduct interactive presentations (using Helgi interactive screens), initiate a video call.
In the great hall of the Senate, a video cube of LG LCD screens is installed, which allows every meeting participant to comfortably see the displayed image from all sides of the hall, and thanks to the smart microphone array Shure MXA920, the meeting participant anywhere in the room can be heard with high quality.
After updating the equipment in the Stasios Vaitekūnas Auditorium, any spectator of the event can comfortably see and hear the presented content. The hall is equipped with an Optoma laser video projector, as well as content duplicating video screens, and Martin Audio CDD series acoustic systems are evenly distributed throughout the room.
The operator has the ability to record or broadcast the event over the Internet, as well as initiate video calls.
