Sound system for swimming pool building in Jonava

Jonava swimming pool opened its doors to visitors the end of December 2022. This brand new sports complex has a 25-meter long swimming pool, as well as separate areas for children, SPA and sauna. Audiotonas team were given the task of designing and installing sound systems in the building’s spaces for background music, events and paging of informational messages.

A centralized multi-zone sound system has been installed in the building, which allows controlling playing music and its volume separately in each individual spaces with ability to control sound locally via smart wall controllers – this is done with the Tesira Forte AI sound processor from the manufacturer Biamp. System is equipped with paging microphones for information messages that have the option to select zones with the press of a couple of buttons.

Biamp EX-S10 speakers were used in the main areas of the pool due to resistance to moisture and chemicals. Acoustic systems of this model can withstand the effects of sulfur dioxide, chlorine, salts, while ensuring high sound quality. Loudspeakers for sauna spaces can work even at temperatures up to +120 °C. Biamp and AMC moisture resistant speakers were used in other areas of the pool.

The sound system enables to use the existing PA for events. A portable equipment cabinet equipped with digital SHURE SLXD system wireless microphone systems and a digital RCF audio console control can be used as needed in the main pool area for events.
