In 2025, Kaunas State Musical Theatre updated its technical arsenal for high-quality sound reinforcement of opera performers, completely replacing the used wireless microphone system with a new Shure Axient Digital set with the ability to use up to 40 different microphones simultaneously for artists for high-quality sound reinforcement and recordings of opera and concert events.
The 40-channel Shure Axient Digital system includes:
A personal computer with Shure software Shure Wireless Workbench® and ShowLink® is used to manage and configure the system
ShowLink – transmits information about the receiver status in real time: communication channel quality, set output volume, microphone connection status, battery charge remaining. This facilitates and speeds up the work of sound engineers in identifying and solving communication problems.
Wireless Workbench and AD600 Spectrum Manager are tools that help monitor and manage radio frequency spectrum occupancy and communication quality.
The entire system is equipped with several Rack-type transportation and storage boxes, mobile antenna connection cables. This is convenient for changing the placement of system components, adapting to different scenography layout situations and ensuring a perfectly reliable connection between microphones and system radio signal receivers. The system can also be conveniently transported and used during theater tours.
The top-class and excellent sound quality Axient Digital system is designed for extremely important complex events and art projects, where there simply cannot be any sound interference. Up to 120 systems can operate simultaneously. AES3, Dante, AES 256 support. Frequency spectrum analysis and direct parameter correction. We are pleased that Axient Digital systems are successfully used in Lithuanian theaters, television studios and large-scale concert events.
