Main event sound system

Martin Audio CDD12 acoustic systems, which are small in size, but can create high sound pressure and evenly fill the room thanks to a special asymmetric directional diffuser, were chosen for sound-reinforcing the event space. These systems are also valued for their high sound quality, and when combined with Martin Audio low-frequency acoustic systems, we got a great sound that is suitable for both DJ and live performances. We also provided Shure SLXD digital wireless microphones and an Italian manufacturer RCF mixer sound console.

Background music system

Martin Audio CDD5, CDD6 acoustic systems, as well as Biamp Community D6 ceiling-mounted acoustic systems were used for background sound in other areas of the restaurant. The background sound system also uses low-frequency acoustic systems of different types and mountings from Martin Audio and Biamp. The use of low-frequency loudspeakers in background sound systems allows more efficient use of wide-band acoustic systems, while at the same time expanding the low frequency characteristics of the reproduced sound. The chosen acoustic systems are also special in that they perfectly reproduce music tracks, even when playing at a low volume level. Martin Audio CDD5-WR weatherproof acoustic systems are installed in the outdoor areas of the restaurant.

Audio signal distribution and management

The sound of all areas of the restaurant can be controlled either centrally or individually with controls in each area. Since the restaurant uses separate sound amplifiers to sound the individual spaces, the sound signals are transmitted between them via the DANTE digital network. This allows you not only to conveniently control the volume of all sound zones or the selection of music tracks, but also to combine or separate spaces as needed.

A computer for the management of the restaurant’s audio system, equipped with all the necessary software, in addition, using an Apple iPad tablet, the system can be controlled or configured wirelessly from anywhere in the restaurant – this greatly facilitates the preparation of premises for events according to the wishes of customers. To make system management even simpler, a graphical control interface with pre-programmed scripts has been created for users, so it is possible to prepare the system according to the most common requirements in just a few clicks.

All installed acoustic systems were adjusted according to the existing acoustic properties of the premises, using specialized sound analysis and measurement equipment. After the measurements, we analyzed the obtained results and harmonized all the acoustic systems – their frequency characteristics, crossover points, phase characteristics and delay values, so the obtained result is very close to ideal – the acoustic systems sound as they were designed in manufacturers’ laboratories.
