Design and installation of LED screens is one of the areas of specialized activity of Audiotonas. Thanks to the rapidly advanced LED technology, these screens have become suitable not only for advertising boards, but also for wider application in indoor and outdoor spaces. In recent years, Audiotonas specialists have installed screens in such facilities as Darius and Girėnas Stadium, Vilnius Lazdynai Pool, “Oazė” leasure centre in Kaunas.
We install large format LED screens for outdoor use. Such screens are resistant to the effects of dust, temperature differences, moisture and have extremely high brightness. High brightness is necessary for outdoor screens during daytime so that the displayed image does not fade in daylight or direct sunlight. Outdoor screens usually have a larger pixel pitch, which means that individual pixels are larger and less frequently spaced than in indoor screens, but considering that outdoor screens are usually viewed from a far distance, the lower resolution of LED panels does not have a noticeable effect on perceived image quality.
Indoor LED video screens have a smaller pixel pitch, so their resolution is significantly higher – the image is perfectly visible even when viewed from close distance and perfectly readable. It is an excellent alternative to multi-screen video-walls or video projectors in auditoriums or conference rooms, as well as for advertising billboards and digital signage.
Indoor LED screens typically have a lower luminance than outdoor screens, because indoors you don’t have to deal with direct sunlight. However, the brightness of a large-format image on an LED screen will easily surpass even laser projectors.
We offer LED screens for various purposes, which are adapted to special working conditions. The LED screens installed in Vilnius Lazdynai swimming pool are resistant to salty and humid pool air – ordinary LED screens would be quickly affected by corrosion and their service life would be significantly shortened. In Kaunas “Oazė” leasure centre, we have installed a large-format stage LED screen, which is suitable for television filming, because video flickering, normally invisible to the naked eye, may occur when filming screens with conventional technologies.
