Lighting effects
The first thing visitors notice when they arrive is the fluorescent glow of their belonging – ultraviolet light lamps are installed throughout the entire entertainment arena, giving the spaces a futuristic feel. All activity areas are equipped with high-intensity stage LED lights that can “paint” the room in any color combination, a large ring of lighting fixtures with moving head units and an impressively large size mirror ball. Light controls are automated and synchronized with sound system control.
Sound system
The large size of the space determined the need for a complex sound system – the arena has more than one large area that requires not only separate sound control, but also mathematically matched the operation of acoustic systems to the acoustic properties of the room. After performing acoustic measurements, the most optimal sound system was designed with delayed signal speaker lines – speakers located further from the main sound source receive the sound signal several milliseconds later – at the same time as the airborne sound from the main speaker systems reaches them. The result is a much clearer and more pleasant sound, without unwanted echo effect and phase distortions.
Full-range professional AMC RF10 acoustic systems and AMC RFS12 and Wharfedale low-frequency acoustic systems were used in all spaces. Audio signals are distributed via a digital Dante network, so the sound system can be infinitely expanded in the future. Entertainment arena managers have centralized sound control for all zones – systems can be adjusted from anywhere in the arena – using an Apple iPad with specialized software. Biamp Tesira control processor was used for control purposes, and Crestron control equipment was used for system automation, therefore, despite the large number of different systems, controls are simplified, with pre-sets of most commonly used settings, so all arena sound and lighting systems are set for work according to the desired event scenario with just a few clicks.
