In Klaipėda, a modern City Infrastructure Coordination Center began operating in early 2026, where the entire city is monitored in real time and the smooth running of city life is regulated. The new center is equipped with a video screen system – large-format and high-resolution video walls, which monitor live broadcast images from more than 60 video cameras throughout the city. Specialists on duty around the clock monitor the state of traffic, roads, and congestion, analyzing Waze and Google data, and can promptly solve problems by intelligently controlling traffic lights, respond to accidents, breakdowns, or uncleaned streets, centrally control street lighting, and ensure the smooth operation of city services.
Audiotonas installed video screens, video signal switching and control systems, and content and screen management software in this center. High-resolution special information LG Video Wall signage series 55″ monitors, Blustream signal switching devices, Matrox video signal encoding and video signal distribution to screens devices, Crestron controllers with graphical interfaces for system operators were used for the three video walls. Control computers with Dell UltraSharp 27″ monitors were installed at the operator’s workstations.
The installed technologies are Klaipėda’s long-term investment in a more comfortable, smoothly functioning and safer city life.
