UAB Audiotonas participated in the construction project of the SMK College of Applied Sciences building by installing lighting, audio, video and climate control systems for the auditoriums, as well as background sound and information screen systems in the common areas of the building. There are 26 auditoriums for lectures, where all equipment is controlled by a 5″ touch screens in each room. Chosen management solution simplifies the use of the equipment, as it allows lecturers to prepare auditorium with just one click, the system is very easy to understand even for first-time users. The control screen combines the settings of the projector, projection screen, sound system and room lighting, also allows convenient adjustment of the ventilation and heating system of the auditorium. A highly reliable Crestron DALI system has been installed for lighting control, and integration with HVAC systems has been implemented using Bacnet.
The conference room on the ground floor of the building has even more functionality. A laser video projector from NEC, 75″ video monitors, high-definition controllable video cameras for filming events, live webcasting and video conferencing are installed. Martin audio CDD series speaker system, digital audio, lighting control panels, Shure microphone system installed. Powerful Claypaky Mini-B moving LED lights and other lighting equipment are installed, so the hall is suitable not only for modern hybrid lectures, but also for large events and musical performances.
The new SMK College of Applied Sciences building is a modern example of how it is possible to integrate all building systems into a single network, thus simplifying equipment management and maintenance. And most importantly, the simple technical management of the auditoriums will allow users to take full advantage of the equipment.
