Kaunas University of Technology Building 3 – Culture and Events Center

Building 3 of Kaunas University of Technology, located on Kaunas Laisvės Avenue, was built in the interwar period as the palace building of the then famous Ateitininkai Corporation, and is currently a venue for various art groups and events. Audiotonas has installed sound, video projection and stage lighting systems for events in the hall of this building.

The hall on the second floor of the building is equipped with a Martin Audio WPS series Line Array type sound system with additional SXH218 subwoofers. Performers and event hosts are provided with Shure SLX-D series wireless microphones, a set of wired instrument microphones. The stage is equipped with a 5-meter wide motorized screen and a video projector with audio and video signal switching devices.

The stage’s artistic lighting system has also been updated – modernly controlled lighting equipment from Clay Paky and other companies, as well as LITEC motorized lifts and aluminum trusses for lighting devices and decorations, has been used here.

An event sound and artistic lighting set has also been installed in the event space on the sixth floor of the Palace. This space is designed for smaller events, so the equipment is controlled by integrated Crestron automated control devices, which allow you to control the equipment by selecting pre-programmed, most common “scenarios” that prepare the necessary equipment for operation or turn it off when the space is not in use.
