A new conceptual hotel LAJOS has opened in Birštonas, designed for business tourism – a space where it is possible to combine remote work, business meetings, training or conferences and quality employee relaxation. The project developers abandoned the traditional resort SPA model and decided to develop a facility adapted for “workation”– a modern way of combining work and relaxation, when an employee or freelancer works remotely from another location.

Audiotonas has become the main partner of this project in implementing complex audiovisual solutions in hotel spaces. The hotel is located in Birštonas city center, so the most popular places of the resort are easily accessible on foot or by bike. Guests are offered 32 minimalist-style rooms, co-working spaces, relaxation areas with a view of nature, a restaurant, a technologically innovative event space and the first Mind SPA in Lithuania.

Since the hotel is focused on the needs of business companies for organizing conferences or trainings, special attention is given to the technological implementation of these events. Multifunctional, easily transformable spaces of different sizes (“Nemuno vingis” 300 sq. m., “Vingis” 170 sq. m., “Nemunas” 130 sq. m.) are equipped with the latest video and audio equipment for conferences or teamwork down to the smallest detail. Advanced audiovisual technologies enable hosting of high-quality international-level events, screenings, and presentations. Two high-definition projectors and motorized screens are designed for events, as well as two automatically or manually controlled 4K resolution cameras with an optical 20x zoom. The control of all audiovisual equipment is maximally automated and simplified, and the hotel also has qualified technical personnel who take care of high-quality equipment management during events.

The halls have a mood-lighting system with the ability to choose colors according to the event concept or the palette used by the customers. The halls can be connected or separated using acoustic curtains, creating a more intimate environment for smaller events, family celebrations, business meetings or creative sessions.

LAJOS co-working spaces are specially adapted for productive work and relaxation. Guests are offered ergonomic workspaces with height-adjustable tables, meeting rooms. The work and relaxation spaces are dominated by large windows overlooking the nature of Birštonas, create a new, unusual work experience and allow maximum relaxation during breaks.

In addition, the hotel stands out for its Mind SPA, which has no analogues in Lithuania – a space of movement and peace, created to enjoy a bright and calming environment, adapted for yoga, pilates, meditation and other practices that complement the resort’s traditional wellness services.
